'AIMS' (AGA Intelligent Management System) upgrade for Gas Agas
This allows owners of older cookers to enjoy the benefits of programmability and reduced running costs just like those buying a new cooker - so a 30 year old AGA can run just like a brand-new one.
Kits are available to fit most gas (conventional and power flue) and most 13amp electric AGAs.
Exceptions to availablity are: pre 1974 cookers, gas balanced flue models, early 13 amp Agas and Economy 7 electric Agas.
For water heating models we remove the boiler to convert to non water heating.
In nearly all cases (except for newer 13amp electric models) you will need a (free) home survey to determine which kit is required. At the same time we can advise on whether or not any work is needed to bring the 'gas installation' up to the latest standards (most likely to be on older conventional flue models).
Prices including installation and VAT for the 13amp electric AGA are £710.00 and for the gas AGA vary from £1320.00 to £2040.00.
Upgrade Your Oil AGA To Electric
There is now be an official, fully guaranteed kit to upgrade and convert existing oil fired AGAs to run on electricity.
Not only that, but the conversion kit will also include AGA's 'AIMS' so you can programme and control the cooker's temperature so it suits your lifestyle.
The kit is available for all oil AGAs made after 1974. Like the gas models, there is a kit for the hot water boiler model AGAs, but it does mean removing the boiler from the cooker. AGAs that have been converted to oil from any other fuel cannot be fitted with the kit.
The oil to electric AIMS upgrade kit including fitting and VAT is £2240.00. (£1999.00 if ordered by 30th April.)
