30 Amp Aga

INTRODUCTION

The 30-amp night storage cooker from Aga.

The Economy 7 Electric AGA has a bank of heat storage bricks that 'charge up' in the cheap-rate Economy 7 period overnight , this heat is then transferred across to the hot plates and ovens when needed during the day. Highly efficient insulation retains the heat inside the cooker so it isn't too hot to touch  and there's easily enough heat to last for a full day's cooking. If the heat store does get low and it's still peak rate time the cooker will detect this and boost itself (only to a lower level though) until the cheap rate starts and it can fully charge up again.

The ovens are ventilated to outside using exactly the same system  as the 13amp electric AGA.

The economy 7 electric AGA is available as a two or four oven model only, in all the AGA colours (except Claret) and can be fitted with the optional electric module. Unfortunately the economy 7 electric AGA isn't available with AIMS at the moment.

We’d love to be able to turn back the clock to the time when fuel prices were easier on your wallet. While that’s not within our power, what we can do is offer you a great deal on the 30-amp Electric Night Storage Aga.

The 30-amp night storage model retains everything that makes an Aga great. It offers the same unique looks that saw Aga recently become the only cooker recommended as a ‘Number 1 kitchen design classic’ on Channel 4’s Grand Designs Live. It also offers the same solid, hand-crafted British build that can last a lifetime. What it doesn’t retain is a dependency on oil or gas. It soaks up cheap-rate off-peak electricity at night to give you that characteristic warm glow throughout the day – and a fuel bill that is easier to digest.
