ILVE Range Cookers

The range cookers are hand built to order in Italy using high quality steel and robust components. Models with a gas hob configuration have individual cast iron pan supports and easy to use, one –handed ignition. Each burner is made from brass but for durability they are coated with a non-stick, easy to clean nanotechnology coating.

Each hob configuration, excluding induction, includes a high performance 5kW dual control double ring wok burner as standard which can be adjusted to use each ring separately or together for increased flexibility during cooking.

Their induction hobs are available across the range cooker collections in 60-100 cm models and incorporate 5 or 6 zone induction hob dependent on size.  Some of the larger models also come with the option of combining two inductions zones amongst the gas hobs.

ILVE range cookers also boast precision digital temperature control which allows oven temperatures to be accurately adjusted incrementally between 30°C and 300°C. This provides a uniform cooking environment with temperatures that stay consistent during the cooking period, yielding in better cooking results.

ILVE range cookers benefit from significantly better internal oven capacities when compared to other brands.  Ranging up to an incredible 97 litre oven capacity on the 120cm and 150cm models. The extra-large oven cavities have an easy clean, grey enamel interior linings which repel food residue and can be simply wiped clean.

The new Majestic models have the same oven operational features as the Milano and Roma but have the addition of 2 internal oven lights set at different heights in order which effectively illuminates the oven during cooking and increases visibility without opening the oven doors. The Majestic also has the design differences of the distinctive claw fee and greater depth sitting at 700mm and with Touch Screen controls.

The main oven on all models except for the Torino incorporates a unique steam discharge vent which can be easily adjusted to provide either wet or dry cooking environments. Opening the vent to release steam generated during cooking is perfect for moisture heavy dishes like casseroles and stews whereas the wet cooking functions create a humid oven interior which keeps roast meat succulent and cakes moist.
