Welcome to Lacanche and our wonderful collection of semi-professional range cookers. Inspired by the pride and passion of the French for gastronomic excellence, they are superbly crafted and hand assembled by the company Société Industrielle de Lacanche, part of a family-owned group of companies from the village of Lacanche in the Côte d'Or region of Burgundy: an area renowned for its fine food and wine. Still today, the region is peppered with Michelin stars and flavours of gastronomic excellence. It is here that the unique Lacanche range cooker is hand built, a culmination of 200 years experience and tradition. The Lacanche factory provides the basis of employment for the village of Lacanche, in the heart of Burgundy.  This product is sold worldwide and anyone who has the pleasure of visiting the factory can really see how proud the workers are of creating this product in such a small sleep village in France.

Being hand-crafted in an area steeped in the history of their creation gives Lacanche cookers a certain pedigree. They have a refinement that makes them a joy to look at, to touch and to use. Solid beauty matched by power and versatility.

Just like good Burgundian food, they have an honest simplicity - there is something elemental about cooking on a Lacanche. Searing flame, high levels of heat, instant grilling and steam cooking; the weight and solidity of the cast iron pan stands; the gleam of the solid brass burner caps and fittings; the deep lustre of the high grade enamelled steel - all speak of reassuring quality. These are sturdy cookers and are every bit as robust as their commercial heritage demands, yet designed for today’s domestic kitchen.

A foundry was established in the village of Lacanche, deep in the Burgundian countryside in France, over 200 years ago, and range cookers have been manufactured there by hand ever since, both for the commercial and domestic markets.

Apart from their extraordinary heritage, what makes Lacanche range cookers so different from other range cookers on the market today, is that they are still made to exacting standards by hand to order.

They are solid and built to last, offering years of service in a demanding environment. They offer phenomenal, truly professional performance, and extraordinary versatility. They have a deliberate, implicit simplicity, making them simple to use and maintain. There is an almost infinite variety of configurations combining the wide range of models with the various hob types, oven types, built in hob options, dual fuel options, shape and size. Lacanche range cookers are individual, made to your own specification. They are also renowned for their elegant looks with 29 beautiful enamel finishes to chose (or stainless steel) and six different trims.
