Walter Dix & Co has been a family run business for four generations. Founded in 1888 as Heating Engineers in Newcastle upon Tyne, we were appointed as one of the very first AGA Distributors in 1931

Our office and showroom are based in Team Valley, Gateshead and we cover the whole of the North-East for AGA, EVERHOT and ESSE cooker distribution including Northumberland, Durham, Tyne & Wear, Teesside, and North Yorkshire.  We offer a complete and unrivalled service throughout this area. This service includes sales, installation, refurbishment and servicing of AGA heat storage cookers.

We are also one of the largest independent retailers of Range Cookers and our Showroom displays not only cast iron cookers but a vast number of premium quality Range Cookers and Refrigeration products, cookware and accessories, which we distribute throughout the UK.  We stock spare parts for AGA and Rayburn Cookers. 

As a Company, we strive to provide the very best service and pricing.  We offer finance options on all of our products.  Our showroom is open 6 days a week, with a large amount of free parking.  We do suggest that if you would like full guidance from our knowledgeable staff that you ring ahead and book an appointment, but this is not essential. We welcome everyone at any time.
